Backyard Campfire Tour
The Backyard Campfire Tour is a heartwarming event designed for families with autism to come together and enjoy a cozy evening around the campfire. This event offers a relaxed and inclusive environment, where families can connect with others who share similar experiences.
The campfire will be set up in sensory-friendly backyards, with dimmed lights, a limited number of attendees, and minimal background noise. Families can gather around the campfire to roast marshmallows, sing songs, and share stories.
Trained staff and volunteers will be present for support as needed and to, facilitate activities that promote socialization and interaction. The event will also provide sensory-friendly activities, such as calming crafts and tactile sensory items, for those who need a break from the campfire.
The Backyard campfire tour is an opportunity for families to relax and unwind in a comfortable and accepting environment. The event aims to promote awareness, acceptance, and understanding of autism in the community, while providing a fun and memorable experience.
